Terms of Service
These terms govern the use of datakaroo.com and the purchase of Datakaroo's services and digital products. By placing an order you agree to them. Datakaroo is operated by Simphiwe Zulu, a sole proprietor based in South Africa ("we", "us"). Contact: [email protected].
1. What we sell
Business data services (custom-researched B2B lead lists, web data extraction, recurring data retainers) and downloadable spreadsheet products. All services are fixed-price digital deliverables described on our homepage; custom extraction work is quoted in writing before any work begins.
2. Delivery timelines
Free samples: within 24 hours of receiving your brief. Lead lists (Starter, Growth, Scale): within 48 hours of payment and a confirmed brief. Custom extraction: timeline stated in your written quote (typically 2–7 days). Retainers: weekly deliveries on your agreed weekday. Spreadsheet products: instant download.
If we anticipate missing a deadline we will tell you before it passes and you may cancel for a full refund of the affected order.
3. Briefs and revisions
Lists are built to the written brief (your ideal customer profile) you confirm before we start. If a delivered list does not match the confirmed brief, we will correct it at no charge. One reasonable revision round is included with every list.
4. Data quality
Contact email addresses in paid lists are verified before delivery. If more than 5% of verified email addresses in a delivered list hard-bounce within 7 days of delivery, we will replace the affected rows or refund a proportional amount — your choice.
5. Acceptable use
Our data is compiled from public business sources for legitimate business-to-business outreach. You are responsible for using it lawfully in your jurisdiction (including POPIA, GDPR and ePrivacy rules that apply to you). We do not sell consumer data and we decline requests that would require violating website terms or privacy laws.
6. Payment
Prices are shown in USD; card payments are processed by Paystack and may settle in ZAR. Payment is due before delivery for fixed-price lists and products, and per the schedule in your quote for custom work. Retainers bill monthly in advance and can be cancelled anytime (see Cancellation Policy).
7. Liability
Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for outcomes of your outreach campaigns. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under South African law.
8. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If any clause is found unenforceable the rest remain in force. We may update these terms; the date above reflects the current version.
